Glastonbury ticket farce

OK so we did our thing, got our pre-registration numbers after sending in the form with our pretty faces on - to reduce fraud and increase our chances of getting a ticket. Today, April Fools day, there we were - 8.55 - online in 2 houses, on 5 different phones, trying all the options to increase our chances.

The two options - seetickets.com and 0870165200. At 9am neither of these worked. For the last hour, nowt. No connection online, nothing on the phone. In fact, every 5th call we got through to the Chiswick Esporta Club - what the?

Utter madness, the error message on the Glastonbury website said - please do not keep refreshing the page as this will not help anyone. What are we supposed to do? Try the connection once an hour?

They should have the meatiest badass servers in place - we all knew what the demand would be. What cost would have been too much for a solution? £1000s should have been invested. Were seetickets.com prepared?
