My good lady has launched a service for knitting buffs (is there such a thing?) out there; combining making clothes and researching domestic history.

What makes a photo popular?
To my surprise, this photo is by far and away my most popular. I think it’s cool; nice colours, interesting lines, but I didn’t expect the amount of interest.
Subjective eh? But what makes a great pic? I wonder…
Snowy hills
A few weeks ago we needed to be rescued by Green Flag; stuck in the Derbyshire rolling hills in a snowstorm. We went for a quiet pub meal and when we arrived, no sign of snow. Within 10 minutes it came like there was no tomorrow. Good fun though
