Kind of freaks me out how incredibly massive and unending the internet is, yet so often bizarre and weird coincidences appear online. Take this for example, messed with my head this morning…..I am working for Poke London at the moment and one project I just helped get live is some flash banners for their gigsandtours site. Separately, I am helping my friends band The Loyal Few with online projects, including a new site and some banner/email work….and here on last.fm the two worlds collided:

Orange have just launched a new flash site to promote their Animals packages on PAYG - and it’s pretty neat. Poke London built it. Basically, it’s the world’s first virtual balloon race. I would imagine the site will tell you about it better than I could.

The latest site from Poke London is a redesign and build of their successful offering for Orange from last summer. To promote Glastonbury, Orange are giving away hundreds of free tickets. How do you win? Well, you Spot The Bull of course!

With real live video feeds of a bull in a field, you have to choose which square of the field he will be standing in at 2pm every day, and then winners are selected at random. That little moving image of the bull on your screen from above? It’s actual REAL LIVE VIDEO! Wow. It’s good, go see it.

New additions to the redesigned site are:

1. team play allowing you to win up to 8 tickets per group
2. live multi-cam video streaming from the field
3. real time stats and bull-tracking making the gameplay more strategic
